NRA Donations 3X after Parkland Shooting

Reports from the Federal Election Commission show donations to the NRA tripled from January to February.

In January, the NRA collected almost $248,000 in individual contributions.

In February, they collected more than $779,000.

The nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics tracked itemized contributions that include donations of $200 or more by an individual in the days before and after the shooting and found that in the two weeks after the shooting, itemized contributions to the NRA doubled from the previous two weeks. On top of that, the number of people contributing in the seven days after the shooting increased almost 500% from the week before.

Since the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, the folks on the left have constantly targeted the NRA instead of pointing out the failures of the law enforcement and the FBI, mental illness, bullying culture or the perpetrator himself.
